Students juggle many applications at once, each with its own deadline and status, and the question they need answered first is simply what to act on next.
I designed the data model and the secured API layer behind it, then shaped the dashboard around what a student needs to decide on first. Deadline-aware sorting keeps the most urgent item at the top.
